I thought websites are free. Why isn't yours?
As you know from your own experiences in the business world, nothing is free. It is true that the majority of websites are free for visitors because the expenses for operating the website are paid for by advertisers (all those banner and pop-up ads you love). However, like a growing number of websites, we charge membership dues, which mean that we do not have any banner ads or pop-ups. This also means that the major portion of our website is closed to the public- which allows videographers a private forum to exchange ideas and information.

Is The Video Business Advisor for amateurs or professional videographers?
Both. The content of this website is well-organized into different categories and sections. There are plenty of articles for both the seasoned pro and the person just starting out in video production.

Which platform is the information based on: Windows or Mac?
Neither. The majority of the information and articles is not platform specific. However, there are a few tutorials that are based on one platform specific application or another. Wherever possible, we provide cross-platform materials.

Are my dues tax deductible?
Dues are not refundable, transferable, nor deductible as charitable contributions. However, dues may be deductible as a business expense. Check with your tax consultant or accountant for advice on this issue.

How secure are my credit card details and other personal information?

In addition, Our parent company, Opin Marketing, Inc. has internal security measures in place to help prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information you provide us. All information in the Members-Only section of this website is strictly private. Your personal and company information can not be accessed by anyone at any time, except for what you'd like to share with other members to network and collaborate with them.

What will show on my credit card statement?
Your dues will be charged every month or year, depending on which program you select. The charge will be shown from either from VIDEOSUCCESS or OPINMARKETING.

Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal.

Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes, we accept checks and money orders payable in U.S. funds. However, to keep administration to a minimum, you must subscribe for one full year. Sorry, no monthly memberships.

Can I join if I am under 18 years old?
No. We require our members to be over 18 years of age.

How often is content updated?
We often add new content daily. Usually, we update content once or twice a week.

How often do you check your site's links?
Every link is checked monthly. Should you find linking problems, please contact us.

Will you sell or trade my personal information to any other individual or group?
